While in the town of Ubud , home of the Balinese royal family, we saw that the Puri Agung Ubud were building a bade (cremation tower) and an enormous twenty-foot papier – mâché bull for a cremation ceremony for Prince Tjokorda Putra Dharma Yudha, so we decided to attend.
No, this is not the work of a bunch of stir-crazy, inebriated musicians that have been on tour too long, or hyperactive spring breakers. In fact the owners are pleased as punch to see the Beach Motel demolished. The Beach Motel was the last motel standing in an area of Toronto that was once known as Motel Strip.
